How to Stealth Kill in Kingdom Come Deliverance
Kingdom Come Deliverance’s realistic sword combat might be its most unique and appealing feature, but this is a role-playing experience that allows players to build their character according to their preferences. For some, that doesn’t always mean swinging a giant sword and donning thick plate armor. If you’re the sort of player that prefers sneaky stealth takedowns then Kingdom Come Deliverance has you covered. That being said, while you can silently take out your enemies from the very start of the game via a knockout, you won’t actually be able to stealth kill until much later.
You will no doubt be aware that the game’s progression is centered around various perks for each skill. Stealth is one such skill, and there’s a special perk required before you’ll be able to perform a stealth kill. Unfortunately, it requires you to have reached level 5 before you can acquire it, which means you’ll need to spend time leveling up the skill first. To do so, make sure you engage in actions like sneaking around unnoticed behind enemies and pickpocketing. Once you’re at level 5, unlock the perk. There’s still one more thing to do, though, and that is to acquire a Dagger. You’ll be able to purchase one from any weaponsmith, and there are some Traders that have them too. Don’t worry, they’re not too expensive!
Performing a Stealth Kill works similarly to knocking an enemy out (which you can do from the start of the game). Enter the Sneak mode by pressing L3 (PS4) or equivalent button on Xbox One/PC, and then carefully approach someone from behind before executing the Stealth Kill prompt.
That’s everything you need to know in order to perform a stealth kill in Kingdom Come Deliverance. For more useful tips on the game, Twinfinite has a huge resource of guides available to you.
