Destiny: Rise of Iron – How to Get the Trespasser

This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

Destiny: Rise of Iron will be introducing a lot of weapons into the fold for Guardians to push back the Darkness and the new SIVA threat. One of those weapons is a new Exotic Sidearm called the Trespasser. What makes the Trespasser extra special is the fact that you can get it before the Rise of Iron expansion even releases, as it’s being dropped in game right now.

There is no specific quest for this weapon, though. In order to get it, you’ll need to farm for Special Exotic Engrams. These are Engrams that grant special weapons such as Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, and Sidearms. Using a Three of Coins against certain bosses in the raid, missions, and Strikes will increase your chances of obtaining one of these highly sought after yellow Engrams.

Once you have one, head over to the Cryptarch in the Tower or the Reef to see if a Trespasser is waiting for you. Some players are reporting obtaining the weapon on their first Engram, while others are taking upwards of 10, so hopefully RNG is on your side.
