What Season Is Demon Slayer On?

There appears to be some slight confusion with this question. It seems some of the fan base considers the movie Mugen Train to be a season in itself. The official answer is that the Mugen Train Arc and the Entertainment District Arc constitute season two. That said, Demon Slayer wrapped up the third season in mid-June 2023.

Demon Slayer is currently on season four, which will premiere May 12 on Crunchyroll.

When Is Demon Slayer Season 4 Coming Out?

With season three’s Swordsmith Village Arc having wrapped up almost a year ago, things got a little quiet for a while. However, it has now been announced that Demon Slayer season four will be out on May 12 on Crunchyroll.

There has been roughly a year gap between all seasons thus far, and it has remained rather consistent.

When Is Demon Slayer Season 5 Coming Out?

Assuming the season release pattern holds, season five will potentially be out in May-July 2025. With the last two seasons, Ufotable has also released a film bridging the previous and new seasons, which will likely happen again, probably in early 2025.

While it’s possible that this will be the series’ final season, that’s not a guarantee. The final arc, Final Battle, is comprised of two sub-arcs. This could result in either a sixth season or an extra-long season five. We likely won’t know anything more about that until we get closer to when season five is fully announced.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on everything about Demon Slayer to keep you updated on when you can expect the next seasons.
