8. FIFA 14

As the final game in the series, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain took the series in a whole new direction. Bringing the tactical stealth action to an open-world was an ambitious task, but one that Kojima and his team were successful in executing.

Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V is the most ambitious entry into the open-world crime-loving series to date. With one of the largest and densely populated cities as your playground, GTA V is all about the freedom to do whatever you want. With the game being re-released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Rockstar took the opportunity to upgrade the visuals, make some adjustments, and also add in the first-person view to make you feel like you’re really wandering around Los Santos.

Grand Theft Auto V received an average critic score of 97 based on 14 critic reviews, with much of the praise revolving around the improvements added in the Xbox One version. The game also has a user score of 7.9 based on 686 ratings. Sounds like there are a lot of happy Los Santos citizens to us.
