All of the Animal Crossing fans have been patiently waiting for more juicy news on the upcoming sim game from Nintendo, but it’s been like half a year and we still have no concrete info besides the fact that it’s coming sometime this year.

We just want to be in debt to Tom Nook once again, Nintendo –is that so hard to ask? I want to run around my adorable little town and talk to my anthropomorphic friends; I want to go visit my best friends village and steal all of their special fruit, and I also want to make my dream house filled with Nintendo memorabilia.

Considering that Animal Crossing: New Leaf back on the 3DS sold like hotcakes, becoming the best-selling game in the franchise, we have no doubt that the first console Animal Crossing game in over 10 years will do just as well or even go on to sell way more than New Leaf ever did.

I predict that Nintendo’s booth at E3 this year will be solely focused on Animal Crossing for Switch and we’ll be knowing a lot more about the game once June comes around, and if not, Nintendo will be receiving a strongly-worded letter from yours truly.
