PS Plus Predictions
The Bigger Game – Just Cause 4
Every month, those who subscribe to Sony’s online program are also gifted a few free games every month through PS Plus. For the current month of August 2019, those games included Sniper Elite 4 and WipEout Omega Collection.
While the official free games list for the upcoming month of September 2019 has yet to be revealed, we have some predictions as to what games PlayStation owners might see on that list in the coming weeks.
For the larger game, we suspect Just Cause 4 would be a perfect fit based on how Sony has chosen past free games.
The Just Cause series is familiar with PlayStation Plus, with Just Cause 2 being offered in June 2012 and Just Cause 3 in August 2018.
Just Cause 4 is also on sale at the time of writing until Aug 27 at 67% off it’s Standard Edition, Gold Edition, and Digital Deluxe Edition. Usually games that go on sale until the end of the current month often find themselves on PlayStation Plus sometime in the very near future.
Even just looking at the other games on sale at the moment is essentially a list of past PlayStation Plus game inclusions. For example, 60% off For Honor (on PS Plus in February 2019), 50% off Conan Exiles (on PS Plus in April 2019), Destiny 2 (on PS Plus in September 2018), and various Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed Bundles whose titles are extremely familiar with the PS Plus program.
It stands to reason these games that often go on sale are solid picks for PlayStation Plus predictions when simply looking at the trends of the Sony company in the past.

The Smaller Game – Farming Simulator 19
Along with a larger game, usually a smaller title also makes the list for PS Plus as well. For September 2019, we suspect Farming Simulator 19 would be a likely contender for a couple reasons.
Mirroring the aforementioned arguments relating to Just Cause 4, Farming Simulator 19 is also on sale at the moment at 33% off meaning Sony might be considering offering it for free as well.
As well, Farming Simulator’s publisher Focus Home Interactive has also had several other games on PS Plus in the past including Styx: Master of Shadows in July 2015 and The Surge in April 2019. When certain companies have history with PS Plus, then it’s more likley their games will be included in the future. Looking at you, Ubisoft.
Make sure to check back in the next couple weeks for Sony’s reveal of its official PS Plus lineup for September 2019. And while you wait, why not check out a comparison of July 2019’s PS Plus and Games with Gold free games list to see whether Sony or Microsoft did it better?
