1: Nightstalker
The Hunter desperately needed something that had another use besides dealing damage, and boy did they get that. Nightstalker got more than any Hunter fan could have asked for. Its super, Shadowshot, is absolutely devastating in PvE play. Not only does it do extreme damage to an enemy, it leaves groups of enemies completely vulnerable to be destroyed by other more damage oriented classes such as the Stormcaller. When modified with Blood Bound, its a wrap for packs of even the strongest of Destiny enemies.
If that wasn’t enough, the Nightstalker gets one of the most versatile melee attacks in the game. Smoke can be modified to either turn yourself or other allies invisible, deal damage over time, or used as proximity mine. That’s STILL not all. Shadowshot can be further enhanced to allow the Nightstalker to produce more orbs for allies or increase everyone’s Armor and Recovery who are near by. Oh, and let’s not forget that the Nightstalker has a pseudo dodge roll when equipped with Shadestep.
No other class in Destiny, new or old, has more versatility than the Nightstalker. But don’t mistake the Nightstaler for a “jack of all trades but master of none”, the Nightstalker can do so many things and do them all extremely well.
