Gold Saucer (Final Fantasy VII)

Recommended Videos

Debuting in Final Fantasy VII, the Gold Saucer is a towering amusement park that was built over the ruins of Old Corel. It is a world famous tourist attraction where people go to play games and earn points in exchange for prizes. Some of the attractions include Chocobo races, plays, gondola rides, and even a horror-themed hotel. Just like any other amusement park, you’ll have to pay a certain entrance fee for either a one-time or lifetime pass. Cloud and company visit the Gold Saucer to unwind but end up getting caught in a major misunderstanding that lands them in prison.

This map could make for a whimsical stage in Dissidia NT as characters would fight on the outer part of the map. There, players could ascend the golden mushroom-like buildings when fighting. The buildings could have windows that show some of the attractions inside like an ongoing fight at the arena, or the arcade area. During the Dissidia NT stage transformation, the Gold Saucer will really come to life as there could be even more lights, fireworks in the sky, and a live Chocobo race circling around the stage.
