Teleportation Gun
Getting around in Fallout 4 can be a bit difficult, especially if you’re trying to use verticality. Even with flight, getting into certain places is next to impossible. Luckily, there’s a Teleportation Gun mod on PC that allows you to just shoot at where you want to be and poof, you’re there. This would be a great mod for consoles, considering movement on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is a bit more challenging than on PC. And there are all of those buildings that look like they have goodies on top, so let’s bring this gun to console.Â
OCDecorator
If you’re anything like me, you want everything to be in its place, and it all has to be perfect. That’s where the OCDecorator Mod comes in. It allows you to place everything neatly. Just because you live in the Wasteland doesn’t mean you can’t have standards at home and in the workplace. Unfortunately, this mod is only available on PC at the moment. That means all of the Xbox players are stuck with a mess still. Vials all over the floor, wrenches stored in one of your settlers, and who knows what’s on those bottom shelves. This would be one of many mods that would help out console players a ton.Â
Any Mod Any Weapon
Weapons in Fallout 4 are pretty cool, as are the customization mods you can use on them. Any Mod Any Weapon allows you to use all of those customization options on any gun. It doesn’t matter what gun it originally belonged to. This allows for some seriously insane combinations. Imagine the insanity that would ensue on consoles if player were able to create any weapon they wanted to. This includes adjusting the ammunition that a gun can fire. Definitely looking forward to mini-nuke pistols and bowling ball machine guns.Â
A Cannibal In Concord
A Cannibal In Concord doesn’t change the mechanics of the game in any way. Instead, it adds a new mystery for you to solve. Loosely based on a real-life serial killer, players will inspect a home, navigating passages and finding clues to discover who lives there and what they’re doing in the Wasteland. It adds some really dark lore to the world, and is an example of the amazing things that modders can do for a game. Bringing this mod as well as others of this nature can only benefit consoles. Extending the story, and adding dark side quests only adds to the immersion, and who wouldn’t want that?
Spring Cleaning
Do you take the time to pick up all of the garbage around your settlements, trying to make them appear as clean as possible before you start developing? Do you get frustrated when it still looks like an absolute mess? PC users have the Spring Cleaning Mod to get around that. It allows you to pick up weeds, clear nasty bushes and shrubs, and any odd patches of grass. It may not seem like a big deal, but it helps a lot when you’re trying to build something beautiful. There’s no solution of this kind on consoles just yet, so this would be a perfect fit. There are millions of players tired of building amazing structures only for them to be surrounded by filth.Â
No More Adrenaline
Some people use mods to add to the game, others use them to make life a bit easier in the Wasteland. One of the annoyances of moving through Fallout 4’s world is running out of adrenaline. You need it to run, and it affects your AP when in VATS. The No More Adrenaline Mod removes this nuisance so you can run to your heart’s content. Bringing this to console would be a nice touch, as there’s nothing like running freely while a horde of Mutants chase you, yelling obscenities.Â
Enchanted Wedding Rings Balanced Start
Let’s be honest, the wedding rings suck. We get that they’re symbolic, but come on. The Elder Scrolls taught us all that jewelry should be more than a pretty bauble. The Enchanted Wedding Rings Mod takes the rings you get early in the game and gives them purpose. That way you’re not just toting around a useless symbol as you sleep with robots and flirt with all of your companions. It’s not a big deal, but this would help out those starting a fresh game on console quite a bit. Nothing like a bit of extra aim or the ability to carry more junk as you find your bearings.Â
Craftable Cats
Do we really need to explain why mods about cats are awesome? The Craftable Cats mod lets you craft cats. That’s it. They add +1 Happiness to your settlements but not much else, probably because they’re just cats. Those plain old cats should come to consoles too. Because, you know? Cats. Â
Wasteland Imports
Wasteland Imports is an amazing mod that allows you to purchase items and gear from previous Fallout games. If you’re a fan of the franchise this is a big deal, especially if you want to decorate one of your homes with some of these classic items. There are Fallout fans on consoles too who would love to be able to bring a bit of other Wastelands into their worlds. Some of those items are very useful, particularly the skill books. And if you’re tired of plain old Nuka Cola, you can get some of the classic flavors along with other beverages.Â
Higher Settlement Budget
The Higher Settlement Budget mod allows players on PC to place a lot more items on to their settlements. This allows them to build skyscrapers, lavish mansions, super camps, and more. The amount of stuff you’re able to do with increased limits is insane, and very fun. It allows your creativity to run wild, making this one of the greatest mods on PC. While it’s clear that consoles may not do well with a really large limit, even extending it by 50% would make a world of difference, allowing for some awesome creations. When combined with some of the other content mods it can definitely allow for entirely new experiences.
