Onrush
Easiest PS4 Trophies & Platinums of June 2018
Onrush isn’t a racing game in the traditional sense. There’s no finish line, checkered flag, or podium; all you have to do is beat the opposing team in one of the four objective-based modes. Combining the well-designed maps and modes, the beautiful visuals, and the Burnout-style takedowns make for a fun and hectic arcade racer.
Thankfully, the trophy list is quite basic. You’ll unlock trophies for making your way through the Superstar championship, winning certain events, and spending periods of time with particular vehicle classes. The tricky ones are ‘Max Out Your Superstar Rating’ and ‘Collect 250 or More Gear Items’ but they require little more than time. If you’re good enough, unlocking the platinum shouldn’t be too tough.
Far Cry 3: Classic Edition
Easiest PS4 Trophies & Platinums of June 2018
Yes, Far Cry 3 released years ago, on the previous generation of systems, but you can now play it on PlayStation 4. It was free to Far Cry 5 Season Pass holders at the end of May, but it released for everyone to purchase this month. It allows to you return to the game that made the Far Cry series the juggernaut it is today, coming face-to-face once again with one of the best villains of the last decade, Vaas.
It’s essentially a port of the PC version, but the trophies are the same as they were on PS3, with the online-centric ones removed. With the online and multiplayer components removed, all you need to focus on is the single-player story mode. You’ll get all the tattoos and unlock the story-based trophies as you play, and you might need to clear up ones like ‘Win $1500 playing poker’ once you’ve finished. The game is great, and you shouldn’t need to do much more than complete the game if you’re after the platinum.
The Crew 2
Easiest PS4 Trophies & Platinums of June 2018
The Crew 2 builds on what the first game did right, putting more focus on the impressive map design while allowing you to race and upgrade your cars as you explore. Also, both boats and planes have been added to the game, allowing for more racing variety and giving you a bunch of different options for coming up with crazy cross-country journeys with your friends.
While there’re certainly some flaws, including the driving mechanics themselves, there’s plenty to enjoy, especially if you’re a trophy hunter. The list is quite straightforward, and is made up of 35 trophies. You’ll have to do things such as beat the champions of each family and engage in photo opportunities, but you should do most things as you play through the game.
