One thoughtful boyfriend by the name of Tyler used his girlfriend’s love of Pokemon to ask her to prom with the help of 22 Unowns, one Vulpix, a Stunky, and probably countless hours of Pokemon catching.

In a post on Dorkly, Tyler explains how the Pokeposal came to be. “I borrowed her HeartGold version of Pokemon, along with Pokemon Diamond. On her HeartGold version, I caught 22 Pidgeys and on my own Pokemon Pearl, I caught 22 Unowns, enough to spell out “Will you go to prom with me? I then caught a female Stunky (one of her favorite animals is a skunk) and a male Vulpix (my favorite animal is a fox) and taught them both the move Attract and put it in the box with the Unowns. The whole thing took pretty much a whole weekend.”

If you BF/GF loves Pokemon and you have some time to kill, then Tyler’s idea may be one to consider. The personal touch of adding his and his girlfriend’s favorite animals just takes this one over the top.

Pro tip: a quicker route would be to just rename their Pokemon team to spell out your promposal like this person did here.
