If Nintendo cameos ever made their way into ARMS...

Lanky Kong

Lanky Kong is one of the more obscure Kong family members who made his debut in Donkey Kong 64. He’s one of Donkey Kong’s trusted allies who helps him after being freed from the clutches of the Kremling Krew. Lanky Kong has one of the more unique appearances when compared to his siblings due to his abnormal body and lengthy arms. Nevertheless, this orange animal can still hold his own in battle using his Grape Shooter and Baboon Balloon among other items.

His lanky arms are not just for show, as Lanky Kong often uses them to walk around. He also learns the Simian Slam that can be used to hit switches or pound enemies to a pulp. Lanky Kong could get a burst of much-needed popularity by being a guest character in ARMS seeing as how he already has the body for it. His lanky arms could easily reach opponents from across the field and act as a faster form of walking when he’s not attacking. Lanky Kong could have a handstand ability that takes effect after a few seconds of not attacking. While doing this, Lanky Kong could avoid attacks more easily but would have a slower startup when striking again. He would be something of a zoning character and recommended for intermediate players.
