Nintendo Switch October 2017 Releases
This is the month Nintendo Switch owners have been waiting for ever since the console’s launch back in March earlier this year. In October 2017, we’ll finally see the release of a brand new Mario game on Nintendo’s hybrid console. Super Mario Odyssey is a semi-open world title where players will get to take control of the titular Italian plumber as he collects coins in New Donk City, and throws his hat (aptly named Cappy) onto inanimate objects and takes control of them. The game is absolutely gorgeous, and it’s definitely the biggest title to keep your eye on this month if you’re a Switch owner.
If for some reason you’re not really into Mario, there are still a few other games releasing in October that might catch your interest. The underrated Syberia is making its way to the Switch on October 20, and it follows the story of New York lawyer Kate Walker as she investigates a lost culture and civilization in Russia. For those more interested in the 2D game variety, Axiom Verge is another excellent one to pick up, as well as Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime if you’d like a co-op experience.
