6 Actors Who Should Play Dr. Reid in The Vampyr TV Show

Ioan Gruffudd’ career spans historical drama, science fiction, and fantasy. His early performance as Horatio Hornblower is his most notable television role, but he’s likely known to US audiences mostly for playing Reed Richards in Fantastic Four. Not the best superhero movie, of course, but that was hardly his fault. Roles in Titanic and Black Hawk Dawn are more fondly remembered, perhaps.

Over the past few years, Gruffudd’s performances have been limited to fairly middling movies. His television roles mostly comprise crime dramas —suitable experience to portray Dr. Reid in Vampyr.
