The Running Man is a character you find near Hyrule Field in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and will later challenge players to a race to the bridge in the Lost Woods. The myth was that it is actually possible to beat him in the race.

One myth is that you can beat him as Young Link. You can become the child version again by putting the master sword into the pedestal of time. People have even tried to use a Gameshark to freeze the timer for an advantage, but nothing can stop the Running Man from defeating you.
