Tom Nook
Oh, Tom Nook. You know what I realized the other day about this sneaky little raccoon? He is what makes Animal Crossing and he is the sole owner of your debt and your life.
The initial goal in Animal Crossing is to pay this animal back in thousands upon thousands of bells. You have to do odd jobs all the time, sell your precious furniture, and get your hands dirty with your fellow neighbors.
And because of all of these things, I know that perfect game for Tom Nook to be on the forefront of –that’s right– a god game. A game where you can control any and everything around you.
You can sit atop your island in the sky and force the citizens of your town to do whatever it is that you please. It’s kind of like Animal Crossing, but you’ll be able to take over multiple towns and alter anything that you want.
Tired of that annoying Falcon that lives by the post office? Gone. And that chatty squirrel that’s under the bridge? Lost forever (don’t ask).
A god game starring Tom Nook himself would be quite the departure for Nintendo, but it’s 2019 and Tom Nook is just wasting away at his desk when he could be doing bigger and better things.
