Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

Dragon Quest

Frequently argued to be the best entry in the prolific series, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King would be a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch.

Offering a vast world to explore full of side activities and quests, Dragon Quest VIII still holds up as well as it did when it first released over 14 years ago.

Its story of a hero out to lift a curse set on his kingdom, and the trials and tribulations he and his party face along the way, are still cherished by fans of the Dragon Quest new and old alike.

Many of them would happily pick up a new port if given the chance, especially if it were available on a console where they could drop in and out of the lengthy adventure when they have a free moment.

This would be all the more true if Nintendo ported the 3DS version of the game, drawing in old fans looking to experience the new content the version of the game offers.
