Persona Protagonists (Makoto Yuki, Yu Narukami, Akira Kurusu)

These protagonists in the Persona series pretty much represent the player as they have the option to pick their personality through dialogue options. However, Atlus has slowly been fleshing them out as their own characters through their respective anime, movies, and manga. While Makoto is stoic, calm, and reserved, Yu and Akira are much more spontaneous, outgoing, and even flirty. Despite the differences in personality, one factor binds the three Wild Card wielders together: the fierce love and dedication they have for their friends.

In Persona Q2, we can easily picture Yu and Akira doing some strange activities while Makoto would be forced to tag along. They’d also trade information about their team for strategic purposes and maybe even talk about their personal values. It’d be interesting to see how Yu would react to the Phantom Thieves as the investigation team mainly deals with solving crimes. Despite this, the three Persona protagonists would still become great friends and brothers in arms in Persona Q2.
