InnerSpace
In InnerSpace, you fly through the skies and over the oceans of the Inverse, attempting to help the Archaeologist recover the last remaining memories of the place before they’re lost, while ensuring that you have a means of escape. Its visuals are beautiful, playing it is a calming experience, and it has a straightforward trophy list.
The list is made up of just 15 trophies, including three bronzes, two silvers, nine golds, and that all important platinum. Completing the game, which shouldn’t take much longer than a few hours, will see you net around half of the trophies, but you’ll be able to clear the rest up afterwards. You can return to InnerSpace’s world and explore freely, allowing you to clear up any collectibles you missed and complete any other objectives. With the help of a guide, you’ll be able to find everything you need in just an hour or two, and by the end you’ll be rewarded with another platinum to add to your collection.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory
In the sequel to the popular first Cyber Sleuth game, Keisuke Amazawa must dive into the world of hackers to prove his innocence. Although it is very similar to the previous game, Hacker’s Memory’s combat and story are still excellent and make the game a joy to play. While it is quite a long game, there’s plenty of simple trophies that will unlock organically as you play.
The list is made up of 46 trophies, including 33 bronzes, 10 silvers, two golds, and one platinum. There’s some tricky ones that ask you to do things such as ‘collect 700 types of Digimon medal’ or ‘attain the maximum hacker rank’ but there’s at least 20 trophies that will unlock as you play. It isn’t a game to go for for a quick platinum but it is a great choice if you’re a Digimon fan and are looking to boost your trophy numbers.
Monster Hunter: World
Monster Hunter: World is proving to be a huge hit, having sold more than five million copies in its first week, and hunters are having great fun alone and with friends. As you explore the plains and jungles, taking on the terrifying beasts, you do things that unlock trophies.
As a whole, unlocking every trophy in the 50 trophy-long list isn’t something you’ll do in a matter of days. It is actually very time-consuming, with trophies such as Giant Crown Collector and Giant Crown Master possibly taking tens of hours or more. However, nothing is technically difficult, and you’ll unlock every trophy in the game by simply playing it for long enough that the RNG sees you get certain items. Finishing the main story portion of the game will also see you unlock a decent number of the trophies, making playing it worthwhile for more than the excellent gameplay loop.
Telltale’s Batman: The Enemy Within – Episode 4
A month rarely goes by without the release of an episode of a Telltale game, and January 2018 is no different. The fourth episode in the second season of Batman: The Enemy Within released last month and it gives you trophy fanatics the chance to continue the adventure and collect some trophies with very little effort.
As is the case with every other episode in the Batman series, and almost every other Telltale game, all you have to do to get the six trophies on offer (three bronze, two silver, one gold) is complete the episode. Also, with the season two finale on the way, completing episode four will also leave you a step closer to the platinum that unlocks once you’ve finished the whole game.
