Netflix Series You Should Binge in 2019
Ultraman
Ultraman may seem like a reboot series only anime fans will enjoy, but those who dig a little deeper will find there’s plenty enough to draw in most anyone.
Set several years after the events of the original anime, the series sees Ultraman’s son, Shinjiro Hayata, take up the hero’s mantle to take on a new threat to Earth’s peace.
This is easier said than done though, as he only requires half of the power necessary to utilize Ultramar’s abilities. As such, he must use a high-tech suit to do battle with the forces of evil, all the while searching for a way to awaken his latent abilities.
It’s a fairly straight forward plot, but also one which drips with themes and styles that fans of superhero films and series will flock to; which is good, considering the slew of Marvel superhero shows that have been canceled from the streaming platform.
To that end, it’s a show that will easily eat up a viewers’ day with a binge-watch session once it releases this April.
