ALL VIDEO GAME RELEASES DECEMBER 2017
(WEEK ONE: DEC. 1 – DEC. 6)
The busy fall season of releases may be coming to a close, with fewer games and high profile AAA titles to look forward to, but that doesn’t mean that December 2017 is void of any games to get excited about.
The first week of December has probably got most of the exciting games to be released during the month. With Xenoblade Chronicles 2, arguably the most anticipated game of the month and the final AAA Nintendo Switch game of the year, starting the month off when it releases on Dec. 1. The same day, the final notable VR release, Doom VFR, comes to PlayStation VR and HTC’s Vive.
The three other more recognizable titles, all coming on Dec. 5 are re-releases. Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition packages the main game with the Frozen Wilds DLC, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection is a bundle of every Telltale Walking Dead episode released to date, and Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package is the debut of the most recent Dead Rising game on PlayStation 4.
When it comes to DLC, however, there is one release that stands out from the rest. Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris adds a bunch of new content to the hugely popular shooter, including Crucible maps and story missions. The full list of releases in the first week of December is:

Possibly the most exciting release of the week is the console debut of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, which is coming to Xbox One’s Preview Program on Dec. 12. It’ll undoubtedly continue the game’s meteoric success. The full list of releases for the second week of December 2017 is:
