Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Let’s get the most obvious showing out of the way first. We all know that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is slated for later this year, we’re just waiting on details. With this being Activision’s big player, you can expect an extensive look into this year’s Call of Duty release. There’s a high probability that details will be shared on Sony’s stage as their DLC partnership with Activision is still in effect. Plus, with Activision foregoing its own show floor booth this year, all of its major titles will appear right alongside whatever Sony is bringing at the PlayStation booth.

Different bundles, a beta, and more info on the Modern Warfare remaster should be in store for eagerly waiting fans. It will be interesting to see how the publisher responds to recent backlash, but the primary focus will undoubtedly be on jaw-dropping new gameplay and a multiplayer reveal.

Skylanders

Activision’s other major breadwinner has a new upcoming game as well. Skylanders Imaginators will let players create their very own Skylanders as they fight off Kaos once again. Toys work a bit differently now, and there are new crystals which will help mold how players will express their creativity.

Only three of the new figures, all Sensei Skylanders, have been shown so far. It’s not clear if that’s all there will be, so you can expect more definitive information during E3 as well as some of the wild combinations you’ll be able to come up with in this new game.

Destiny

Destiny had a huge presence at E3 2015 thanks to The Taken King, and there’s a good chance that Bungie will pull through for Activision once more. As promised, there will be one more major expansion to close out Destiny before a sequel some time in 2017.

While there will be a reveal stream before E3 2016, Activision can capitalize on new information to bolster its offerings this year. New specifics about gear, more activities, and maybe even some hands-on time with the new content as well. Destiny has come a long way, so Bungie will certainly have some exciting things in store.

New IP

A lot of publishers and developers will have some brand new IP up their sleeves, and Activision may not want to be left out. With a few studios under their thumb, you can expect something to show up, even if it’s only a small teaser. While games like Destiny, Call of Duty, and Skylanders will handle a lot of the heavy lifting, it’s the brand new games that help to drive more intrigue and bring in more fans.

It’s not entirely clear what they could bring out at the moment, but Activision is not one to play keep up, so you can rest assured that they have something cool planned.

Crash Bandicoot?

Okay, this is a slim possibility. Activision has held the license for quite some time, and even with fans pleading for a new game, nothing has materialized. However, the orange bandicoot’s appearance in Uncharted 4 reignited the desire for a brand new, hectic game starring the lovable critter.

Whether it’s some type of partnership with Sony, or a brand new game published directly by Activision, a Crash Bandicoot isn’t entirely out of the realm of possibility. Again, it’s definitely one of the most unlikely possibilities in all of E3 2016, but with what Sony managed to pull off last year, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.
