Auto Loot
Auto Loot: Tired of having to always search for loot after you’ve rained hell on your adversaries? The Auto Loot mod allows you to automatically loot everything in a certain radius, filling up your inventory as you move through the Wasteland. If you’re worried about picking up a little too much while playing Fallout 4, you can adjust how the mod works from your Pip-Boy.
Distances, types, and other option are available to make looting a whole lot more pleasant in your journey through a nuked up Boston.
Simple Flight Ring
Simple Flight Ring: Flying is fun. Taking forever to find the parts you need and leveling up just enough to craft a jetpack isn’t (for some people at least). The Simple Flight Ring allows players to just fly without armor or anything. Want to get on top of a building? Fly. Want to cross a huge body of water without getting your clothes wet? Flying is the answer for that as well.
This is one of the more useful gameplay mods for those who really like to explore every nook and cranny of the Boston Wasteland.
Fallout 4 Lazer Sabers
Fallout 4 Lazer Sabers:Â Fallout 4 is cool, so is Star Wars. Why not mix them together for some combat fun? This mod adds in awesome Light Sabers you can use to wreak havoc upon the unsuspecting denizens of the Wasteland. Making it even better is that it comes with its very own set of sound effects.
Now you can live out that fantasy of being Darth Vader as you rid the world of all life… or the one where you save everyone from the dark side, if that’s more of your sort of thing.
Drivable Pocket UFO
Drivable Pocket UFO: There isn’t any driving in Fallout 4 (which is a damn shame), but this is one of few gameplay mods that introduces the mechanic into the wasteland. That’s not what makes this mod great, though. Instead of giving you some bike or care, or even a Vertiberd, this mod gives you a friggin’ UFO.
Yup, a space vessel for you to travel the irradiated Wasteland with as you look for locations to raid and targets to eviscerate.
Craftable Guns and Weapons
Craftable Guns and Weapons: (PC/Xbox One) Crafting mods for your weapons is one of the best new features of Fallout 4, but sometimes it sucks having only one of a particular gun and having to constantly switch the mods out, or choosing which lucky companion gets to use it. This mod allows you to get past that . You’ll now be able to craft actual weapons, not just the mods for them.
That means you can outfit your entire settlement with powerful weaponry so that any raiders will be dealt with quickly. No more having to watch one person fight while the rest run.
Seph’s Brutality Overhaul
Seph’s Brutality Overhaul: This is for the die-hard RPG players out there. While Fallout 4 provides plenty of options to up the difficulty, you never feel quite so… human. This gameplay mod changes all of that to make you a lot more squishy. In fact, it alters all beings in the game to feel a bit more realistic. Humans die much easier (you and the AI), monsters are tougher, and robots are much more solid.
When combined with Survival, this makes for the hardest version of Fallout 4 out there.
Fast Travel From Interiors
Fast Travel From Interiors One of the worst parts of Fallout 4 is finishing a quest in the middle of some building only to have to find your way out before you can fast travel to where you need to be. All enemies are clear and all loot has been looted, so you’re stuck trying to figure out how the heck you got to where you are just so you can go home. That makes Fast Travel From Interiors one of the more useful gameplay mods for impatient players. Just pick where you want to go and fast travel. Whether your in a cave, a cellar, the top floor of some building, just go.
Spawn Items
Spawn Items: This is the mod you use when you want madness to ensue, or when you just want one thing really badly. It allows you to summon any items that you may need in a snap, including followers, containers, armor, and weapons. You can even get large amounts of health, increased jump, all perks, and more.
This mod is for those who just want to decimate Fallout 4. It pretty much removes all challenge (which we suggest you experience at least once), but it sure is fun.
D13 Settlement Institute Synth Spy Detection and Elimination
D13 Settlement Institute Synth Spy Detection and Elimination: Many players were shocked to find out that Fallout 4 swapped some of your settlers with Synths every now and then. They live among you and your friends, waiting for the perfect time to strike.
With this mod, you no longer have to live in fear. It can detect synths and even temporarily disable them. It’s a great way to keep your humans safe, and may even make your Brotherhood friends like you a bit more. Except for Danse… poor, poor Danse.
Weightless Junk
Weightless Junk: This mod is pretty self explanatory and extraordinarily helpful. All junk has zero weight. That means you can go and scavenge to your hearts content without having to ever make a trip back to your settlement until you’re absolutely ready. This is perfect for those players who want to build a huge settlement but don’t want to pass up on the fun of scavenging in exchange for mods.
