BTS has been taking over the music world in the last year or so, and it was only a matter of time until we saw the release of a mobile title that followed all the band members. In BTS World, you collect cards of the members and you use their stats to complete levels and continue the story that sees you become the band’s manager before the guys even knew each other. You need to increase the cards’ stats to hit the levels required. So that you can make the cards as good as possible, here’s everything you need to know about how to use upgrade stones in BTS World.
Getting Upgrade Stones & What They Do
While you improve your cards’ stats by using flowers to level them up, you need to use upgrade stones to max them out when you get to the latter part of the game.
To actually upgrade cards them with the items in question though, you’ll need the card to be at level 30 or higher and have some upgrade stones. Upgrade stones are obtained by exchanging DNA or duplicate cards.
To get them from exchanging unwanted items, start from card’s screen in the Manage Cards section, press Exchange, and you’ll then be able to see if you have any duplicates to swap.
You can also get them for completing some Card Missions, such as reaching certain level thresholds. To exchange DNA for upgrade stones, you need to press on the little shopping cart symbol on the right-hand side of the card’s page, which will take you to a store where you can make whatever swaps you want.
How to Use Them in BTS World
To actually spend the stones you have, though, you need to go to the card you want to upgrade and then select Upgrade, which is just underneath the picture on the card. You’ll then see whether you have the stones required to upgrade the card in question.
Keep in mind though, that not all cards can be improved in this way. They need to be between three and five stars in rating, and you will need a lot of upgrade stones. As you can see in the screenshot above, you can expect to spend 300 on a single upgrade.
