How to Get More Crafting Recipes for Workbenches in Fallout 76
Fallout 76, the social experiment that is Bethesda’s first multiplayer entry in the Fallout series, is finally upon us. It brings a wealth of gameplay mechanics new and old to the forefront for players to utilize, and if they want to thrive in the post-apocalypse, they’ll need to know them in and out. To that end, we’ve got a complete breakdown of the game’s Crafting Recipes, what they do, why they’re important and how to get more crafting recipes for workbenches in Fallout 76.
What They’re Used for
In Fallout 76, players have the option to craft a number of different items at workbenches with Crafting Recipes that use the many components and materials found littered throughout the wasteland. These Crafting Recipes allow players to create everything from armor and ammunition to food and healing items, and otherwise improve their chances of surviving the wastes dramatically.
Why They’re Important
While Fallout 76 players certainly have the option of forgoing crafting, the chances of them surviving without tracking down better Crafting Recipes to create better items and armor is slim to nil. Crafting is the most assured way for players to attain better equipment, become stronger and ensure they can survive run-ins with powerful enemies or unsavory, scavenging players.
How to Get Crafting Recipes
With all this in mind, players will understandably want to know where they can find new Crafting Recipes in Fallout 76, and the answer is pretty straightforward. Crafting Recipes can be found scattered throughout the wasteland of West Virginia, with recipes for certain items found in areas where they would have been created. For example, food recipes can be found in dilapidated kitchens, while ammo or weapon recipes can be found in the ruins of military outposts.
Crafting Recipes can also be earned for completing quests, or otherwise continuing to play the game. This makes it all the more prevalent to go out into the wastes and work to reclaim the wasteland as Vault-Tec intended, or at least until you’ve gotten as many recipes as you see fit.
Hopefully, this makes understanding Crafting Recipes and where to find them a little easier. Fallout 76 is set for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 14.
