Who Dutch van der Linde’s Voice Actor Is in Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 serves as a prequel story to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption. The two stories aren’t set all that far apart from each other, with the latest game set about a decade apart. As such, expect plenty of crossover in terms of characters. One such character making a return, and starring in an even bigger role this time around, is Dutch van der Linde, the leader of the notorious van der Linde gang. Given he was already such an iconic and recognizable antagonist in the previous game, you’ll likely be wanting to know who Dutch van der Linde’s voice actor is in Red Dead Redemption 2. We’ve got you covered.
For those who have played the previous game and feel a sense of attachment to Dutch van der Linde as a character, you’ll be happy to know the same voice actor plays Dutch van der Linde in Red Dead Redemption 2. Benjamin Byron Davis reprises his role, and he does a super job of it.
Davis draws on an extensive acting resume, which includes roles across TV, film, and video games. You might remember him from Ant Man & The Wasp or the Belko Experiment if you ever watched those shows.
For anybody that hasn’t played Red Dead Redemption, his voice might sound familiar from performances in LA Noir (Paul Kadarowski) and GTA: San Andreas (Radio Commercial). He’s also credited as having directed a short film called Tender love.
Clearly, he’s a talented performer and an experienced professional.
You can check out Davis’ IMDB profile for his full resume here, though confusingly, it doesn’t have a credit for Red Dead Redemption 2 against his name yet.
