LIBERO – NEW YORK EXCELSIOR – HANZO

Libero, Hanzo, Overwatch League

In the past we have recognized Libero’s skills on Pharah and Genji, but this week we saw some fantastic plays from him as defensive character Hanzo.

Arguably his best play of the week can be seen above, where he ults right down the center of the last area of King’s Row causing the enemy team to panic and split from each other. This frees up Libero to de-mech and kill Seagull as D.Va who is left entirely alone, take out uNKOE as Zenyatta with a ranged head-shot, and Mickie who despite getting a rez after dying from the Dragons is finished off anyways.

Below, Libero once again uses his ult to separate and confuse the enemy team, getting a 3K in the process, but he also pushes forward and moves with his ult to position himself perfectly back on the payload to cap it with teammate MekO as D.Va.

Other noteworthy plays on other characters include when Libero ducked into spawn to avoid being killed by a stuck Tracer ult as Junkrat on Friday, and later in that same game where he flanked as Tracer and got a 4K taking a point on Nepal almost by himself.
