Best PS4 Kids Games of February 2018

Much like Unravel before it, the game that prompted the EA Originals band, Fe is a unique platformer that offers a lot that could excite the younger gamer. The visual style, with a calm atmosphere and world that is littered with angled objects, is striking, the color palate signalling the theme and mood of the chapter. The platforming isn’t always perfect, although jumping between trees is a thrill, and there isn’t much of a coherent story to shout about, but the gameplay is generally engaging. The idea of connecting to the other animals through the medium of song is interesting and opens up some other avenues of exploration and the enemies are menacing, but not terrifying. The lack of direction may confuse some, but the gameplay itself is simple enough for any gamer to get the hang of.
