A Body Inside of Funtime Freddy
During Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location, you can find blueprints of the different animatronics in the game, which is pretty cool. One of them, however, houses a pretty dark Easter egg. If you look at the blueprint for Funtime Freddy, you will see a child located in its stomach area, which is marked on the blueprint as a Storage Tank.
This is pretty macabre, and adds credence to the belief that these animatronics are specifically killing children. That theory is supported even more by the fact that it has a built in Voice Mimic/Luring device. If these animatronics were truly friendly, there would be no need to “lure” anything, much less a child.
Baby Minigame
There is a secret, 2D minigame in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location that is unlocked by hovering over the blueprints option in the Extras menu, but not selecting it. Eventually a pixelated image for the twisted animatronic will appear, and you can click on it, which grants access to the game.
If done correctly, you will obtain an ice cream cone that you must take back to the beginning of the short level and place on the ground as a lure. A little girl will appear and walk towards the cone, but just before she picks it up, a claw flashes out from Baby and snatches the little girl, placing her inside of the animatronic right as the screen goes black. This feeds back into the children-killing notion hinted at by the blueprints and the history of FNaF.
Secret Room
Completing the Baby minigame gets you a keycard that you can use on the final night. Instead of following Baby’s instructions, head forward and to the right until it says access granted, and you find yourself in a mysterious room full of monitors that resembles something from the very first game.
There’s a Fredbear plush, posters, and even voices of your daughter. It’s pretty twisted and there are a lot of theories surround this room, most of which center on it being some sort of “testing” or “observation” room. The next Easter egg definitely feeds into this idea.
FNaF 4 Bedroom
When in that secret room, you can input a code on the keypad located right next to the Celebrate poster behind the monitors and Fredbear plush. The code is 1983, and it will change the monitors to depict the Five Night’s at Freddy’s 4 bedroom.
It’s not entirely clear why this is happening. Did the boy’s father work in Freddy Fazbear’s? Was there someone else monitoring the victim, and maybe that’s why these animatronics are designed to kidnap and store children? The existence of the room is creepy enough, but once you turn on those monitors, a whole world of questions opens up.
Lolbit
If you’re a fan of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, you may have given FNaF World, the RPG that released earlier this year, a try. In that game was an animatronic, which is a recolor of Funtime Foxy, that runs the shops in that game called Lolbit’s Byte Store. It was the only time she ever appeared, so it’s interesting that an Easter egg of her may be in Sister Location.
There is a random chance that the Ennerd mask in the Primary Control Room can display as Lolbit. There is no guaranteed way to trigger it, so not everyone is sure it is supposed to be happening. However, chances are that it is in fact an Easter egg, because nothing else in the room changes. Perhaps it’s connecting characters from FNaF World to Sister Location.Â
Baby’s Endoskeleton
If you’re fast, have good vision, and maybe turn the brightness on your monitor up, you can actually see Baby’s endoskeletion while playing Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location. During night five, after you put in the code and press the green button to send her to the scooper, you can see the endoskeleton directly behind her.
This is pretty interesting, because it can possibly mean Baby escaped before heading to the scooper. If that’s the case, who knows what that means for the next game or even possible unearthed endings.Â
Map
It appears that the locations found in Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 can be seen in Sister Location, further connecting this new game not only to the series as a whole, but to the previous game. Thanks to YouTuber Dawko, we can see that the three key areas from FNaF 4 (bedroom, house, and plushtrap area) are actually part of the Sister Location map.
They are the grayed out areas to the upper right, top left, and bottom left. Again, it’s not clear why these match up so perfectly or what the plan was, but Scott Cawthon is definitely messing with some theories out there, muddying the waters as the rabbit hole grows ever deeper.
