How to Get Bounty Maps in Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves is the open world pirate game developed by Rare. The game is set to launch on March 20 and will see players teaming up to collect treasure, shoot cannons and sail the open seas. Bounty Maps are a quest type which see players battling against waves of skeletons until they are faced with a skeleton captain. The player must then defeat the captain, and take its skull to claim a bounty.
There are two ways to get Bounty Maps. You can either find them as messages inside bottles which wash ashore throughout Sea of Thieves, or you can purchase them from the Order of Souls Vendor. Once the Bounty Map has been acquired, the player must use it to locate the group of skeletons which need eliminating. The skeletons associated with Bounty Quests in Sea of Thieves always wear blue bandannas, meaning they are easy to distinguish from other enemies. The skulls obtained from the skeleton captains can be turned in for gold and reputation. Depending on the type of skull obtained, different amounts of gold are rewarded.
Sea of Thieves features a huge world filled with islands, ports, and a huge ocean. The game is being published by Microsoft and allows players to live out their wackiest pirate fantasies. You can shoot players out of cannons, sing sea shanties, and get drunk on grog.
