HOW TO CHANGE VIEW IN PUBG ON XBOX ONE
Just as in the PC version, players can switch between first and third-person view while playing PUBG. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, and players should certainly be sure to practice using them both tactically. In order to change view, simply tap the right bumper on your controller.
First-person is generally more effective once engaged in a firefight. It’s significantly easier to track your enemy and put accurate rounds down range. Moreover, in Battlegrounds, bullets actually travel directly from a weapon’s muzzle. So if the end of your rifle is caught behind a windowsill, it will simply shoot straight into it and you’ll find yourself shooting up your own cover rather than the target. For that reason, even those comfortable shooting in third-person should continually switch into first-person to check they have a clean shot.
In third-person mode, players will have a much better peripheral view of their surroundings. It’s especially useful for peeking around corners without exposing yourself to potential enemy shooters. Note that when moving through tight hallways, it might be useful to switch the camera between shoulders to give you to see enemies before they see you.
