Super Mario Odyssey is set to be released later this month for the Nintendo Switch and it looks like it’s set to be another amazing game for the new console. Nintendo has released a lengthy new trailer for Super Mario Odyssey which shows off plenty of gameplay features and has us very excited indeed.
Once again, Princess Peach has been captured by Bowser and Mario will have to embark on his greatest adventure yet to save her. The game features a wide variety of worlds to explore such as a bustling New York City to a prehistoric era filled with dinosaurs. Odyssey features a new character called Cappy who allows Mario to take possession of other characters and use their abilities to explore further heights.
Players can also unlock new outfits and caps for Mario to wear and use a specially designed photo mode to take awesome snap shots. There are mini games to take part in and online leaderboards allow you to best your friends’ scores. A two player mode allows one player to play as Cappy and the other as Mario and an Assist Mode can be turned on to help more casual gamers. There will also be special Amiibo released that unlock features in the game.
Super Mario Odyssey is set to be released on October 27 for the Nintendo Switch.
