Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite Embraces its Hellish Side in New Trailer

Eager fans are also treated to a glimpse of one of several Infinity Stones to be featured in the game: the Soul Stone. Under its Infinity Surge mode, this artifact steals hit points from opponents when damage is dealt to the them. When under Infinity Storm mode, however, players will be able to revive their fallen partners.

Ghost Rider first appeared in Marvel Spotlight #5 and has since become a popular hero among comic book fans for his brash temperament and cool design. Doctor Strange villain Dormammu first appeared in Strange Tales #126 and has appeared numerous times in the Marvel vs. Capcom series.  Jedah and Firebrand, on the other hand, are from Capcom’s Darkstalkers and Ghosts’N Goblins franchises, respectively.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 19. Another trailer for the game was released just last week and focused on the title’s narrative, which has Ultron literally joining with Sigma of the Mega Man X franchise as they attempt to rule over both Marvel and Capcom universes. Jedah, meanwhile, leads the villains with a Symbiote virus to fight the heroes who reluctantly team up with Thanos to find the remaining Infinity Stones. Needless to say, there probably won’t be any shortage of action for players when the game finally drops.
