Final Fantasy XV: How to Open the Map

World Map – Final Fantasy XV

Recommended Videos

Like any open world game, you’re going to want to consult your map and look for specific places in Final Fantasy XV. Luckily, doing that is easy enough and XV’s map is fairly detailed.

There are two different ways of opening your world map. The first is by bringing up your party menu by hitting either the touchpad on PS4 or the Start button on Xbox One. The first option you’ll see says map, and clicking on it brings up the entire world map for you to look at. Alternatively, you can also click down on the right thumbstick to instantly bring up the map while you’re out exploring.

If you want a more detailed world map, make sure you’re checking in with the local tipster at each diner or restaurant in the game. The first option each tipster has will mark your map with the locations of rest stops, parking spots, treasures, and more.
