Resident Evil 7 Trailer Introduces an Unstoppable Monster and Psychotic Dinner Guests

Welcome to the family, son.

This week is Tokyo Game Show, and that means trailers. One of them is Capcom’s Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and if you thought that initial reveal was incredibly disturbing, the trailer decides to up the ante by introducing a new enemy who literally bursts through the wall, wielding a shovel. You may think that you can easily dispose of him, but going off the trailer…that’s gonna take some work to make that happen. Check it out below.

Our hero, Ethan, is searching for his missing wife, which leads him to a creepy ass plantation mansion. Not only will he have to deal with some kind of monster, there’s also a trio of psychotic rednecks that’ll be causing you trouble, as seen at the end of the trailer. It looks like they may be cannibals, and they really want you to eat their supper. It’s best to go along with it, unless you wanna be a bad guest.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard comes to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Jan. 24, 2017.
