Smite Will Soon Run at 60FPS on Consoles

If it doesn't look pretty enough already!

Playing Smite on PC has always had its graphical advantages over consoles, one of these is the fact that the PC version runs at 60fps. Well, it seems that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will soon be  patched to run at the same setting.

Scott Lussier confirmed on Twitter that the changes will soon hit consoles. The video he uploaded also showed off some new visual polish. Besides the new frame rate increase, it seems that Hi-Rez are working on a patch that will improve visuals across the board, if this video is anything to go by.

Smite is available now on Xbox One and PC, with the PS4 version just hitting the open beta phase. You can download the PS4 version right now and take part in the promotions that are lined up, with a new event taking place each day up to Mar.28. You can also grab the Ultimate God Pack for 50% off its asking price.
