Telltale Announces The Walking Dead: Michonne

Become the badass.
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Telltale Games kicked off day 2 of E3 2015 before the Microsoft press conference by announcing an upcoming mini-series in the Walking Dead universe to bridge the gap between seasons 2 and 3. Telltale’s CEO and co-founder Kevin Bruner introduced The Walking Dead: Michonne, which is a three-episode mini-series that follows the fan favorite Michonne (in case you couldn’t tell by the title).

In season 1 of the Telltale series we crossed paths with both Glenn and Herschel from the comic books, so we know that’s the universe we’ve been playing in this time. This new mini-series will have the audience playing as the katana-wielding badass herself, covering time not explored in the comics.

No release date was announced and no game footage was shown, but this is still something to look forward to before The Walking Dead: Season 3 drops next year.
