Electronic Arts have announced the first major expansion to  The Sims 4 named ‘Get To Work’. The expansion pack will depict three brand new active careers, completed with a playable venue to help aid your Sims in their aspirations and future. EA have gone into further detail explaining how your Sims are able to create their own retail business to take advantage of particular skills and hobbies for pure in-game profit.

EA have responded positively after a slow start to the release of The Sims 4, and continue to build on the solid foundations the game was built on. With a heavy focus on interaction and individuality, players have started to create and play as unique Sims with brand new careers and opportunities.

Here are the main updates announced by EA on their website:

  1. Be A Doctor
  2. Combat Crime
  3. Experiment and Invent
  4. Create Unique Retail Businesses
  5. New Career Venues
  6. New Skills
  7. Discover Aliens

The Sims 4 was originally released in September 2014 on PC amidst controversy and disappointment over many popular features, such as swimming pools. However, EA’s constant updates over the past few months have reignited the community and the first expansion pack contains many unique and exciting aspects for players to try. Sims 4 Get To Work is set to be released in April 2015 with several more updates to come in the weeks before it.
