Destiny 2 Prestige Leviathan: How to Complete the Bathing Ritual

How to Complete the Bathing Ritual in Destiny 2 Prestige Leviathan Raid

The Bathing Ritual is now one of the tougher activities in Destiny 2 thanks to the Prestige Leviathan Raid. This section of the raid has gotten more changes than the others thanks to an altered enemy and two new debuffs. Those debuffs make taking out adds much more important than it was before. And when it comes to bathers, distance and heavy ammo are pretty much a necessity.

Now, the start is just like a normal run of this section with the team splitting up into two teams of three and rotating on the left and right. The big difference comes in the bathers which throw a huge wrench. They are now called Oiled Ceremonial Bathers and take much more damage to kill. When they do die, they drop a purple pool that starts to reduce your Psyonic Protection by five stacks at a time as opposed to one. So try to kill them far from you (Power weapons work best).

The damage phase, when you run into the middle and shoot the Censers, is basically the same. The only main difference here is that there are way more enemies than on Normal. Just rotate supers and get past this phase for the biggest change. After the damage phase, if you haven’t taken out all nine of the purple things, four random players will get a debuff called “Burden of Worthiness.” Those four players will need to look up in the center room (where you shot the purple Censers) for a symbol. Run to the plate of the symbol you see to remove the debuff so you don’t die.

Other than the above changes, everything is basically the same. Just rotate, kill Bathers, and stay alive. Take everything out and you’re going to be good to go. After all nine Censers are destroyed you’re ready to move into the next part of the Prestige Leviathan Raid in Destiny 2.
