How to Restore Health in Divinity: Original Sin 2
When you’re just starting out in Divinity: Original Sin 2, managing your party’s health can be quite tricky, no matter what difficulty setting you’re playing on. If you’re not able to keep your party’s health up, they can be knocked out easily in battle, and you’ll have to waste Resurrection scrolls just to bring them back with 20% HP.
Thankfully, there are a few ways you can restore a character’s health in Original Sin 2. Some classes will come equipped with a Restoration spell, which can be used as many times as you’d like, but it’ll be on cool down after each use. The Knight is one of these classes, and you can simply click on the spell on your hotbar, click on the character who you want to restore, and they’ll be kept alive.
Alternatively, you can also consume health potions, which can be either bought from traders and merchants, or picked up during your travels. However, these can be pretty hard to come by. I recommend only using them in battle as a last resort if your Restoration spells are on cool down.
You can also pick up various food items you find throughout your adventure in Original Sin 2, but eating them by themselves won’t restore that much. You’ll want to experiment with the game’s cooking feature to create better meals that will grant you better health bonuses.
