Destiny 2: How to Get Hard Light Exotic Auto Rifle

How to Get Hard Light in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

Hard Light is one of the exotics in Destiny 2 that was actually available in the first game. It’s almost the exact same weapon, save from a few choice upgrades that will make it a solid weapon in both PvE and PvP. Check out the perks for the Hard Light in Destiny 2 below:

Volatile Light – Shots have no damage falloff, over-penetrate targets, and ricochet off of solid surfaces.

Polygonal Rifling – Increased stability.

Alloy Magazine – Reloads faster when the magazine is empty.

Arc/Solar/Void Cores – Can change burn.

Composite Stock – Increases stability but lowers handling speed.

The no damage falloff will prove to be a nightmare in the Crucible, and over-penetrating targets will help with armored foes. The biggest change comes in the Arc, Solar, and Void Cores, which allows players to change the weapon’s elemental burn by simply going into the weapon’s menu and choosing one. This will help when setting up for specific challenges, such as the Nightfall.

You can get a Hard Light in Destiny 2 in a few ways. The first is to get it from an exotic engram randomly. You can also earn it as a reward from various activities, including Crucible. Finally, you can cross your fingers and hope that Xur brings it along when he shows up selling his wares.
