FFXIV Stormblood: Where and How To Unlock Samurai
The Samurai is an exciting new melee DPS job added in Final Fantasy XIV’s second major expansion, Stormblood.
To start the Job Quest for FFXIV’s Samurai you must first be at least level 50 in a Disciple of War or Magic class and of course have access to the Stormblood expansion. Head over to Ul’Dah like you did for the Red Mage, but instead, just take a quick stroll from the main aetheryte to X:9.2, Y:9.1 and talk to the Ul’dahn Citizen.
After speaking to him, head right on over to the Gladiator’s Guild. and speak to the SIlver-tongued Showmaster in pit area. After that, head into the guildmasters’ area, past Mylla and down the stairs to the right to speak to the Far Eastern Elder. This will trigger a short cutscene, and upon completion, you will have unlocked the Samurai job crystal for FFXIV: Stormblood alongside a mythrite katana and a nameless coffer for some quick starting armor.
