How to throw weapons – THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD

Recommended Videos

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has seemingly infinite weapons for you to collect during your journey, with spears, clubs, swords, and more scattered around the world that unfortunately break the more you use them. If your weapon is on its last legs, or maybe you are just fed up with it, Link can throw weapons at enemies to inflict some decent damage. It’s pretty useful to keep your enemies at a distance, just in case you don’t have arrows.

In order to throw your weapon, just lock onto an enemy with ZL and press R to chuck it at your target. You can always pick the weapon back up if you change your mind, assuming it doesn’t break on contact. Fair warning, make sure not to toss some of your better weapons around, unless you’re sure you will be able to pick it back up later. You might end up losing that weapon, and that’s way more of a hassle if you have no replacement!

Now that you know how to throw weapons at enemies, for more information, tip, and tricks for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, make sure to head over to Twinfinite’s wiki page for all the latest news.
