Zelda Breath of the Wild: Can You Repair Weapons?

Repair Weapons – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

If you’ve seen any gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, or started playing yourself, you may have noticed that this time around Link will be picking up plenty of different weapons, all of which have their own durability values. When that durability is up, the weapon will explode. Don’t worry, you won’t be harmed by the explosion, but you will be left unarmed. This has many looking for ways to repair these tools of offense, especially the stronger ones.

Unfortunately, switching weapons constantly is part of the challenge and strategy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Because of this, you can’t repair weapons so they will all explode eventually (yes, even that strong one you really like). This is why it’s a good idea to always keep tabs of your weapon’s durability (better ones last longer) so that you can switch before heading into any combat. Sometimes you may even have to pick up something a bit weaker than what you have, in order to have something that will last through your next confrontation.
