Running in Resident Evil 7 is actually incredibly simple, as it is in most games. When you’re walking around, simply press down on the left stick on your DualShock 4 or Xbox One controller. Your character should now start moving noticeably faster as they break off into a bit of a sprint. This is the fastest your character can go, though, so be sure to give yourself a big enough head start so you can escape the horrors that chase you as you run away.
