How to Beat Mia Winters
Mia Winters is your sometimes wife, sometimes murderous nightmare in Resident Evil 7. She’s the first enemy you actually face in the game, although she’s not in control of herself – even though we’d totally get why you’d still be pissed that she cut of your hand. She was infected with a new biological weapon and that has her under the control of a powerful, and vicious, E-Series weapon.
Unlike most enemy encounters, though, she is central to the story and cannot be found randomly while exploring. She won’t chase you ever, and is not locked to a specific part of the house. This means she is unavoidable, but is quite easy to beat.
The only mandatory fight against her is in the prologue. Round one has you attack her face with a handaxe, making sure to block her blade attacks. Round two gives you a pistol to shoot her a few times in the face with.
Depending on which ending you go for, you will have to face her once more, but it’s a simple fight that just has you attack her with a crowbar.
