Time to return to the Forgotten Realms and this time you won’t need a D20.
Whether you’re a D&D gamer or just looking for a way to kill a few hundred hours, listen up, because Perfect World Entertainment has just announced via the PlayStation Blog that Neverwinter is coming to the PS4 later this summer.
You can check out Neverwinter on the PS4 in action in the games Official Announcement trailer:
Neverwinter brings players to the Forgotten Realms of D&D where they will be able to fight against various monsters from D&D lore such as Tiamat, Demogorgon and the Beholder. The post also notes that players will be able to explore iconic locations such as Icewind Dales and team up with famous D&D characters such as Drizzt Do’Urden.
Much like its PC counterpart, Neverwinter will be free-to-play and better yet, Perfect World Entertainment also promised that players won’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription either. The PS4 version of Neverwinter will also include all previously released expansions as well as eight classes such as a Control Wizard and Oathbound Paladin to choose from. It will also include DualShock 4 optimized controls and will take advantage of console features such as Party Chat.
