Far Cry Primal: How to Save Your Game

Just go to your menu.

Far Cry Primal is a big adventure just waiting for you to take it head on. It’ll lead to many hours of playtime for you and a ton of binging sessions. However, you might find yourself with the need to, you know, leave your house or at least go pee. Luckily, it’s not too difficult to save in Far Cry Primal.

The game saves automatically after you complete missions, unlock outposts, discover new locations, or finish cutscenes. You’ll know the game is in the middle of saving because a prehistoric spearhead on the top right of the screen will flash while it is.

If you’re looking to save it manually yourself because you want to make sure, though, simply press start and hit the Save option. There is also Save and Quit which ensures you’ll have all your progress safe and sound as you finally move your legs.
