We’re a month and a week out from Rise of the Tomb Raider, and more news and previews (including ours!) have been dropping. Amazon quietly revealed that the game will have a season pass available when the game releases. For $30, the season pass will supposedly “include a range of content that will extend your single-player campaign, and also allow you to compete with friends.”
That first part sounds pretty obvious–some new tombs or adventures for Lara–but the second part is more eyebrow raising. Its already been said that Tomb Raider won’t have any multiplayer, so it’s possible that this just means leaderboard challenges for tombs and areas. Maybe you’ll be issued a challenge by one of your friends to see who can navigate the tomb and find the treasure faster?
Rise of the Tomb Raider hits the Xbox One and 360 on November 10. The PC version will release early next year, while PS4 owners will have to wait until very later next year.
