Last month, we reported that Koei Tecmo will be releasing a PS Vita port of Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires in Japan on Nov 26. Well great news for Dynasty Warriors fans living outside Japan, because earlier today on Facebook, Koei Tecmo announced that the PS Vita port of Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires will be coming to European and North American PS Vita’s.
Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires will be released in both North America and Europe on Nov 25, and along with a roster of over 86 playable characters, you will also be able to create your own custom character as well as their horses, banners, and officers in the game’s Edit Mode. The PS Vita version of Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires will also include more than 40 battlefields for you to fight for control on.
The PS Vita version of Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires will also include unique and “intuitive” touchscreen controls, which will be mapped to both sides of the PS Vita. The Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires new PS Vita page on its website revealed that you will be able to use the front touchscreen to call your horse and activate a Rage state, while the back screen will be used for all of the stratagems.
The PS Vita version will also include a brand new mode exclusive to ad-hoc called ‘Raid Mode’ for teams of players looking for a real test of strength, although the truly brave will be allowed to take on this mode by themselves. It will also include both Cross-Play and Cross-Save support and any DLC that you bought for the console versions will be free to download again for the PS Vita version.
